How it started ?
November 1st, my boyfriend's birthday. I had been looking for a gift for several days and still hadn't found anything that convinced me 100%. So, I decided to create the gift myself. I designed a print of my boyfriend's hometown (Nice), with a list of 8 essentials (places and foods) that bring his memories back to life.
When I gave him the gift and saw his eyes light up with happiness, I realized this wasn't just any gift or an impersonal print. It was a collection of his cherished memories from his hometown, now with us every day.
For the next two hours, he shared stories from his childhood in that city, and I discovered more about Nice than I ever thought I would (didn't know I was dating the unofficial mayor of Nice?)
That's why we started The Memorists. To give everyone the opportunity to revive past memories and keep them with us every day. (Also, to help all my girlfriends find the perfect gift for their boyfriends and avoid those last-minute shopping panics.....)Explore
